Van der Valk Gilze-Rijen also implements Cheetah
04-05-2012 | Hotel Gilze-Rijen from the four-star Van der Valk Hotels & Resorts chain has commissioned Sprinx to install the Cheetah Energy Control system. This is a unique and innovative system which regulates kitchen ventilation, saving energy costs.
“We are extremely happy with the installation of this system,” says Gerrit Wilps, Technical Manager of Van der Valk International. “Not only does it save energy and our operational costs are reduced, but it has also improved the working climate for our kitchen staff significantly.”
With a payback time of less than a year, the hotel will save 38% in energy on air-conditioning, and 73% of electricity in its kitchen ventilation system annually. Hotel Gilze-Rijen will also reduce its CO2-emissions by at least 70,000kg a year.
