Sprinx plays football for Metakids!
22-05-2010 | The annual Minibedrijventoernooi (small business tournament) to benefit a good cause is already a tradition at football club Alblasserdam. This year the proceeds will go to Metakids for the fourth time.
And for a good reason! More than 800 children are born with a metabolic disorder in the Netherlands each year. More than 2 a day! Two out of three children die from the consequences of this before they have the chance to become adults. Which is why Metakids seeks funding to enable more scientific research and to bring metabolic disorders to the attention of a broader public. We strongly believe in Metakids’ efforts and have been supporting its cause since we came into contact with the organisation three years ago.
Frank Bosch, Sprinx director, is organising this event at his football club for the 10th time now. Thanks to the 21 teams and the many supporters and volunteers, we experienced a very successful sportive and enjoyable day, meanwhile donating a considerable amount of money to Metakids. We are already looking forward to next year, as we will certainly be participating again!
