Sprinx at the Horecava

10-01-2012 | Sprinx, together with Nu-Air, successfully presented the unique Cheetah Energy Control system at the annual Dutch Horecava hospitality trade fair held at the beginning of January at the RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre in Amsterdam. Visitors were enthusiastic about the results the system is capable of achieving. With an average payback period of between one and three years, the system realises significant energy savings of between 40% and 50% in conditioned air and as much as between 60% and 80% in electricity. Many companies are currently keeping a tight rein on their purse-strings or are looking for alternative energy saving measures. The system consequently attracted a great deal of attention from visitors to the stand and many expressed interest in finding out more about the system.

The remotely controlled Cheetah Energy Control system controls the ventilation system in professional kitchens. Apart from energy savings, the system creates a better work climate and this investment qualifies for the Energy Investment Allowance (EIA). With this grant, 41.5% of the investment can be deducted from taxable profit.

Nu-Air, with whom we entered into a partnership in 2011, specialises in air-conditioning systems and, among other things, supplies ventilation systems for kitchens that we can equip with Cheetah Energy Control.
