Our strength behind Energy Management
01-02-2012 | Now that he has been with us for over a year, Robbert Pronk is the man to see when it comes to Energy Management.
“I completed my studies at the Facility Management Academy at The Hague University of Applied Sciences in November 2010. Following the completion of my studies I started working for Sprinx as Energy Manager. During the first year I became familiar with climate control systems, identifying energy flows using a QuickScan and looking for energy waste in buildings so that I could submit energy-saving recommendations to our customers.”
His drive helped the team to further shape our Energy Management service. “Over the past two years, we achieved a total CO2-reduction of more than 8,000,000 kg across the entire portfolio, with an average saving of 19% in electricity consumption and as much as 23% in gas consumption! The achievement of such wonderful results, combined with the positive response of our customers, tremendously motivates me to get the most out of things. I am therefore looking forward to maximising these savings over the coming years and to expanding our team!”
Robbert is 26 years young and in his opinion will never stop learning. As such he is currently completing his post-graduate education in Energy Management during his evening hours; a perfect addition to the profession in which he has by now become a specialist. Naturally his work is not the only thing that keeps him busy; he also likes to spend his free time playing squash, mountain biking and motor racing.
Effective 1 February 2012, Robbert will assume his new position as Manager Energy Services with end-responsibility for this Sprinx division.
We wish Robbert and his team lots of success and work enjoyment, and are fully confident that Energy Management will experience significant growth over the coming year.
