Hilton The Hague recovers Cheetah in 1.18 years

02-04-2015 | As Hilton The Hague was very quickly convinced of the performance of the Cheetah Energy Control, the hotel commissioned Sprinx to install this unique system in its kitchen. The hotel will recover the investment in 1.18 years thanks to the achieved energy savings.

Before the Cheetah system was implemented, the kitchen ventilation system at Hilton The Hague ran at 80% of its capacity. Thanks to Cheetah however, the extraction will only be activated as soon as there is cooking activity. For the 5-star hotel, this resulted in significant savings of 41% on heated air and no less than 74% on electricity. Translated to CO2-levels, the hotel achieves an annual reduction of 39.537 kg.

The implementation took place in December 2014. After a month, Rick de Jong, Technical Service Manager of Hilton The Hague, received our energy savings report: “The Cheetah system is everything Sprinx promised us it would be when it comes to savings. I can honestly say that we are extremely pleased with the results. The investment in the system was more than worth it. The system has also improved the kitchen staff's working environment."

To date, we have provided nearly 70 Hilton hotels in Europe with Cheetah. We are currently introducing the system in new regions such as Turkey and the Middle East. We expect to execute more installations for the renowned hotel chain this year.
