Cheetah now also in Hotel Des Indes
03-03-2010 | In February 2010, Hotel Des Indes in The Hague awarded Sprinx an order for installation of the Cheetah system in its kitchen ventilation system.
Hotel Des Indes is known for its magnificence and the luxury it offers its guests. Situated at Lange Voorhout in The Hague, since 1881 this hotel has managed to receive many prominent guests, from heads of state to members of parliament and from famous writers to sports heroes. Management of the hotel, which is now part of Starwood Hotels, recognises the advantages of a sustainable and energy-efficient environment and constantly searches for measures to improve the building. That was how it came in contact with Sprinx and immediately became excited about the Cheetah system. After the system was installed, there was an average savings of 60% in the cost of electrical energy consumption and of 65% in the cost of heating.
“We are happy with the results of the Cheetah system. After implementation, we saved 60% energy consumption from the first day. The work climate for our kitchen personnel has also improved appreciably,” according to Pierre-Henri Bovsovers, General Manager of Hotel Des Indes.
