Cheetah in the Steigenberger Hotel Berlin
27-02-2013 | In January, the Cheetah system was successfully installed in the Steinberger Hotel Berlin, located on the Los-Angeles-Platz. The hotel has been implementing a very ambitious environmental programme for many years now.
The Cheetah system has managed to reduce the amount of gas and electricity used by the kitchen's ventilation system by 200,000 kWh per year. In addition to using sustainable energy, this step is also helping to further reduce carbon emissions. The Steigenberger Hotel, located on the Los-Angeles-Platz, was awarded Berlin's environmental prize in 2010 by the BUND (Friends of the Earth Germany). This hotel received the award for the extensive sustainability concept it has adopted.
